Dioskiong under should kill the white clover. Chisel plowing would not do it. I suggest waiting until early winter and doing it. You will have to disk again before planting anything else. If some white clover is left, I would not worry really. Grasses outcompete it well if there is fertility there. We are in no N luxury becasue we do not use a lot of nitrogen fertilizers and most of the central area has no access to poultry or other manures. It takes 4 years at least to build a base line fertility.
