Keith, You hit it right on the head ! This is what I'm wrestling with. With grass finishing, the cattle should be gaining an average of 1.7 lbs or better to fatten properly and finish with ample marbling (in the last 60 days) - which is where we're at. It does come down to "the bottom line or margin" as to how much gain can I afford to buy. Regards, Vic
