In the US grass-fed/pasture raised livestock products are marketed as high in Omega-3 and CLA. If you try to finish animals year round on a forage chain, be it stock piled grasses or small grains, what will happen to the CLA and Omega-3 levels in the meat after the forage has gone through a killing frost.
