I am looking for a natural remedy as apposed to Ivermectin or another chemical to rid cattle of lice. I have searched in books and on the internet for a natural treatment but have not found any information. Does anyone know of a successful alternative treatment?

I continue to research what seems to be the best breed(s) to get started with and I really don't care much for black cattle. However, it seems that lowlines might be a good start as as an initial sire. What are your thoughts on the new mini-cattle as sires on normal sized cows? I don't much care for the dwarfish appearance of these animals either. I just keep coming back to Andy Gentry's comment about needing a "little bitty bull."
